Sidney Update
Hi all, just an update incase your are checking in.
Surgery went well, took about 5-6 hours. Not sure exactly because they forgot to notify the nursing desk. Doctor phone after I got home. (Freaked me out, he didn't get to the point and I wasn't expecting the call.) Both surgeries went well, and last I heard, Sidney was peeing a river. Both patients came through okay. I won't see until later tonight as I have to look after Kuma for a bit plus she is not into company when she is sick. still don't know for sure but, looks like the did the Lapro surgery so she could be home by Sunday.

That's great, Daryl. Obviously we are checking in to see how things are going so please let us know when the chance presents itself. Sunday seems like it will be here sooner than you know it.
Forgive me if you've told us this before but what's the Lapro surgery?
I had a similiar situation when I was in surgery once - the nursing staff never told Karen I was out and doing okay leaving Karen and my parents worried for an hour or two. Karen can tell that story better, I was a little out of it (to say the least).

I tried to convince her to let me mic her during recovery, but no dice.

oh I'm so pleased it all went well and she had the least invasive surgery :)
I was thinking of her (and you!) yesterday...
I hope the recovery for her & her brother goes well too...
